WHAT DID WE DO? WHAT'S NEW
and CHANGED?

(reflection and description of event / activity)
EVIDENCE OF LEARNING
(include artifacts, photos, videos, drawings, sketches)
Today our group learned a lot during our time at Harvard, Nuvu, and at the Artisans Asylum. We started the day at Harvard learning about how different Harvard professors/ students viewed creativity. We learned about Qualitative and Quantitative reasoning, framing and  re-framing creativity, and participatory creativity. Listening to the Harvard researchers, we talked a lot about the  many steps it takes to come up with a creative idea. While at Nuvu, we were inspired by the other students projects and insights on our ideas. We were previously having trouble creating a reward system, but the Nuvu students inspired us. They inspired us with their outside and unbiased opinions. Their comments and criticism made us take a step back in our project, Keys to Success. Yesterday in our group check in with the teachers, we were told to take a step back and look at our project in a broader view. Through all the experiences at Harvard, Nuvu, and the Artisans Asylum, we were able to take the step back.

  3. Push your thinking beyond "nice job." Also-everyone in the group should be responding to each post.

  4. Don't forget to set which SEED block this blog is covering. Try to expand on what you mean by the step back.

  5. I would also like to add that this was one of my favorite days in Boston. Also, the boy from NuVu who we talked to really liked our idea. He also gave us some suggestions which were really helpful. I also enjoyed visiting Artisan's Asylum it is a very unique and artistic place. Also, Nathan, be sure to only pick one of the four SEED blocks for the day.

  6. The harvard presentation was incredible in the aspect that it gives us much to learn and innovate our idea with. the feedback we got at NuVu was helpful in ruling out other things that could have ended disastrous, other than that the experience in my opinion was a tad bland. i thought Artisans Asylum was one of the coolest maker spaces i have ever seen! the shear collaboration between adults trying to stop doing boring things with their lives is empowering on its own!
